Can my father become a member of the resident"s association wth a POA? This is a new building and the association is yet to be formed.

Dear Sir, It depends upon the clauses of the Bye laws of the Association and there is no bar to become member of Resident’s association on the basis of POA.

no.. Only the person who reside in flat is called as member of association.

As such no requirement in law in any state for members to file POA. Hence, not required.
