Practicing since 1990, Advocate R. Sathyanarayanan Iyer has an indepth knowledge of law, especially criminal law. He has vast experience as a trial court lawyer and also regularly appears in the Appellate courts, including the Bombay High Court. He has conducted several trials in the Sessions' and Magistrate courts. Notably, he has represented parties in the Harshad Mehta scam in the Bombay High Court and is currently representing some of the accused in the Bhima Koregaon case, which is being prosecuted by the National Investigation Agency. As such he is well versed with the special Criminal statutes such as the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, The Prevention of Corruption Act, etc. In the usual course of things, Advocate R.
